Episode 05 of Top of the World 2017 welcomes Detroit Michigan born Artist Amber Rae Slade to the Podcast. Amber, who has just recently become an Australian Resident, was born to a musical family whose capo business claims endorsees such as James Taylor, Vince Gill and Sugarland.
A trip to Nashville inspired a deep dive into her idols; Bob Dylan, Robert Johnson and Leadbelly and after living and performing around the famous musical city she travelled half way around the world where a professional and marital relationship with Producer and Golden Guitar Winner Matt Fell blossomed. Since landing in Australia, Amber Rae Slade and the Mighty Big Noise have become known on the Sydney music circuit as a dense and rhythmically entertaining live act that uses down and dirty baritone guitars and a looping array of percussion and drums to create a sound that more resembles a full band.
